Moving, surprising, liberating – one of the most successful German-language musicals of our time.
The multi-award-winning production – including the German Musical Theater Award 2023 for “Best Choreography” and “Best Sound” – impresses with an energetic stage show. Peter Plate, Ulf Leo Sommer, and Joshua Lange provide the moving soundtrack – a musical interplay of rousing pop anthems and quiet ballads that touches the soul. Embedded in an elaborate stage, costume, and lighting design, the result is a visual and emotional experience. In addition, the character of the nurse – with her subtle humor and charm – brings a surprising lightness to the tragic love story. Romeo und Julia – Liebe ist alles is a musical full of contrasts: between drama, humor, and goosebumps.
