Julia
Laura Schatz completed her Master’s degree at the August Everding Theatre Academy in Munich in 2025. As part of her studies, she appeared in productions such as Twelfth Night, Once upon a Mattress and Mozart! on the stage of the Prinzregententheater in Munich. Following the completion of her studies, she joined the 2025 revival production of Romeo & Julia – Liebe ist alles at the Theater des Westens, where she initially appeared in the ensemble and as a cover before later taking over the role of Julia.

Romeo
Born on the island of Norderney, Mats Visser discovered his passion for the stage at an early age through the island’s gospel choir and other projects, which also inspired him to write his own songs. Until 2024, he studied Musical Theatre at the August Everding Theatre Academy, where he appeared in productions including Twelfth Night, Baby and Once Upon a Mattress. In 2024, he was seen in Die letzten fünf Jahre as well as at the Luisenburg Festival, where he received the Nachwuchspreis award. In 2025, he portrayed Romeo in Romeo & Julia – Liebe ist alles at the Theater des Westens and later returned for the tour production. In summer 2026, he toured China for six weeks as Goldmund in the musical Narziss und Goldmund. Mats Visser is the recipient of the Thomas Siedhoff Prize, writes his own music and is represented on streaming platforms.

The Nurse
Beatrice Reece completed her training as a scholarship student at Laine Theatre Arts (UK) and Trinity College London. She demonstrated her versatility in 49.5 Shades and as Sister Mary Patrick in Sister Act. This was followed by roles including Chiffon in Little Shop of Horrors, Graziela/Anybodys in West Side Story, Jeannie in Hair, Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof and Soulgirl in Jesus Christ Superstar. She also celebrated success as Rusty in Footloose, Lois Lane in Kiss Me, Kate and Tracy in Hairspray, as well as Norma in Victor/Victoria, Cathy in The Last 5 Years and as Dance Captain in Mainz. Prior to her current engagement, she appeared in Hamburg in & Juliet as the walk-in Anne Hathaway and in the alternating role of the Nurse. She had also previously portrayed the Nurse in Romeo & Julia – Liebe ist alles at the Theater des Westens in Berlin.

Pater Lorenzo, Cover Mercutio
Pascal Cremer completed his Bachelor’s degree at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen, followed by a Master’s degree in Music Theatre with distinction at the Fontys Academy of the Arts. While still studying, he appeared on stage in Sunset Boulevard and West Side Story and received the Folkwang Prize for his performance in XAM. His engagements have included productions such as Hair, Jekyll & Hyde, Chicago and Wahnsinn!. He also appeared in the world premieres of Goethe! and Lady Bess and was part of the German premiere of Moulin Rouge! The Musical as cover for the roles of Duke de Monroth, Santiago and Toulouse-Lautrec, as well as the first German production of A Chorus Line in the role of Bobby.

Death Angel
Giuseppe Dulcetta has been working as a versatile musical theatre performer since completing his training in London. He played the role of Pablo in Sister Act on tour across Germany, Switzerland and Austria and has appeared in productions including Die Nacht der Musicals and Oh What a Night in Berlin.

Mercutio, Cover Romeo
Born in Brandenburg, he began playing the piano at the age of six and started singing in a choir shortly afterwards. At just fourteen, he appeared in the children’s and youth musicals of the Musicalakademie Schatzinsel Potsdam, where he discovered his passion for musical theatre. He studied Musical Entertainment Theatre at the Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna (MUK), graduating successfully with a Bachelor’s degree in summer 2023. In 2023, he celebrated his official musical debut in Die Weihnachtsbäckerei at the Schmidts Tivoli. Until October 2025, he appeared as Albus Potter in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Theater am Großmarkt in Hamburg. He subsequently played Alex Schirmer in the touring production of Abenteuerland – Das Musical mit den Hits von PUR.

Tybalt, Cover Pater Lorenzo
Christian Bock, born in Balingen, studied Musical Theatre at the August Everding Theatre Academy in Munich, where he appeared in The Wizard of Oz and Cinderella (Rodgers & Hammerstein) at the Prinzregententheater. After graduating, he played Woof in Hair and Georg in Goethes Götz von Berlichingen. He was part of the original cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in Hamburg, appearing as Yann Fredericks and Scorpius Malfoy. At the Capitol Theater Düsseldorf, he played Tom in Abenteuerland – Das Musical mit den Hits von PUR. He also served as principal swing for Hans Scholl and Alexander Schmorell in the world premiere of Die Weiße Rose at the Deutsches Theater Munich as well as at the Festspielhaus Neuschwanstein. In addition, he appeared as Bobby C in Saturday Night Fever before returning as Tom for the Abenteuerland tour.

Benvolio, Cover Death Angel, Cover Romeo
Born in Koblenz, he studied Musical Theatre at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences after completing preparatory training in Berlin. He has already gained extensive solo experience, including as Anthony in Sweeney Todd, Moritz in Spring Awakening, Fleet/Thayer in Titanic, Warner Huntington in Legally Blonde as well as most recently as Benvolio and the Death Angel in Romeo & Julia at the TdW in Berlin. He also won first prize in the advancement category at the National Singing Competition in Berlin.

Lady Capulet
Sophie Mefan, born and raised in Munich with Cameroonian roots and, in a previous life, most certainly an Italian cook, is today an actress and singer, although she neither enjoys drama nor can snap her fingers. She has appeared as a guest in theatre and musical productions across Europe, won first prize at the Federal Singing Competition in Berlin, was awarded the Memorial Prize for Music by the City of Munich, and received third prize as well as six special prizes at the MUT competition of the Gärtnerplatztheater. For the world premiere of Disney’s Hercules, she received the BroadwayWorld Award for Best Supporting Performer. Central to her work is always storytelling. She is currently writing a collection of short stories and processes both lived and imagined experiences in her own music.

Lord Capulet, Cover Pater Lorenzo
Fredy Kuttipurathu completed his training as a musical theatre performer at the StageArt Musical & Theatre School in Zurich following theological studies, and also undertook voice acting training at the Speech Academy Switzerland. He has performed as a soloist and in ensembles in classical works. Since completing his musical theatre training, he has appeared in various theatre, musical and operetta productions, including as God in Jedermann and as Joey in Sister Act. In addition, Fredy Kuttipurathu works in theatre education with children and is active as a voice actor.

Malcolm Henry grew up in Vienna as the son of an artistic family and discovered his love of music and theatre at an early age. He trained at the Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna (MuK Vienna), graduating in 2021, where he took part in productions during his studies including Mass and Be More Chill (German premiere). His credits include Stevie in Die Welle (for which he was nominated for “Best Supporting Actor” at the German Musical Theatre Award), Rocky in The Rocky Horror Show, Bernardo in West Side Story, Seaweed in Hairspray and Kit Kat Boy in Cabaret. On tour, he played Burak and Zeki (cover) in Fack ju Göhte as well as Gustav in Die Schöne und das Biest (Doepke version). On screen, Malcolm Henry has appeared in Luden (Prime) and Ich dich auch (ZDFneo). Most recently, he was seen as Peter in Jesus Christ Superstar at Bühnen Bern.

Ensemble, Cover Julia
Elvin Karakurt, born in Wuppertal, completed her Bachelor’s degree in Musical Theatre at the August Everding Theatre Academy in Munich after a six-month preparatory training programme at the Neukölln Music School. She subsequently became part of the ensemble of the German premiere of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in Hamburg, where she appeared in the roles of Delphi Diggory, Moaning Myrtle and Rose Granger-Weasley. In the German premiere of the musical Abenteuerland – Das Musical mit den Hits von PUR, she then took on the role of Amira. Afterwards, she appeared at the Theater des Westens in Berlin in Ku’damm 59 in the roles of Ninette Frank and Monika Schöllack. Most recently, she took on the role of Kat in the world premiere of the musical Die Mitte der Welt at the Landestheater Linz.

Nadine Lauterbach completed a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education and, in 2018, finished her training as a musical theatre performer in Mainz. During this time, she appeared in Fame, Jesus Christ Superstar, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Grimm. In 2019, she was seen at the Luisenburg Festival in the German-language premiere of Madagascar as Gloria, as Patti Simcox in Grease and in the world premiere of Zucker. From 2019 to 2023, she covered the role of Rebecca in Tanz der Vampire at the Metronom Theater and Palladium Theater. In 2023, she played Mary Patrick in Sister Act as well as appearing in the world premiere of Kalte Freiheit at the Luisenburg Festival. Also in 2023, she celebrated her premiere as cover Beate in the world premiere of Abenteuerland at the Capitol Theater. In 2025, she appeared in Romeo & Julia – Liebe ist alles at the Theater des Westens as cover for the Nurse.

Ensemble
The professional dancer has already gained extensive experience on international stages. His engagements include Romeo & Julia – Liebe ist alles by Peter Plate and Ulf Leo Sommer, Cenerentola at the Stadttheater Klagenfurt, as well as productions at Teatro La Fenice in Venice such as Mefistofele, La Traviata and Pinocchio. Further projects include Romeo e Giulietta at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Thaïs, Macbeth, Il Barbiere di Siviglia and I Masnadieri at Teatro alla Scala, television productions such as “Danza con me” and “Mina e Celentano” with Roberto Bolle, as well as work with the Ajkun Ballet Theatre in New York. He received his training at the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma and at the Vaganova School in Bovalino.

Ensemble
Ginevra Serra Cassano completed her studies at the BSMT (The Bernstein School of Musical Theatre) under the direction of Shawna Farrell in Bologna. In September 2023, she moved to Germany to join the ensemble and serve as cover for the Red Boots in Tanz der Vampire at the Stage Operettenhaus in Hamburg. She subsequently became a member of the ensemble in Moulin Rouge! The Musical at the Musical Dome in Cologne.

Ensemble
Mariela Tolentino Caraballo was born in the Dominican Republic and trained at ENDANZA in Santo Domingo in contemporary, folkloric and classical dance. She performed with Endanza Juvenil in works by Anabelle López Ochoa and was a member of the Ballet Folklórico Nacional. She attended workshops in Cuba, Mexico and Pennsylvania, earned a degree in Contemporary Dance Choreography and Performance from URJC in Madrid, and performed with the Compañía Cámara de Madrid, including as Clarita in a contemporary version of The Nutcracker. She also completed a Master’s degree in Cultural Project Management, was part of CADAC in Portugal in collaboration with Marianela Boán, and is a co-founder of Núcleo de Danza de Aljustrel. In addition, she trained in barre methods at Casa Barré in Madrid and most recently appeared in the musical Hello, Dolly! at the Stadttheater Klagenfurt.

Born in Milan, she began her dance training at a young age and quickly developed a strong passion for performing arts. She trained at the MCB Dance Academy in Milan and at the Molinari Art Center in Rome with the Associazione Italiana Danzatori. She further expanded her education internationally through the Certificate Program at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in New York City and the Intensive Program at the Joffrey Ballet School. She joined TUI Cruises as a dancer aboard "Mein Schiff", performing worldwide from 2019 to 2023. In 2024, she returned to the company as Dance Captain aboard "Mein Schiff", followed by her role as Choreo Coach at the TUI Cruises Studios in Berlin for the 2024–2025 season. In 2025, she joined the cast of Romeo & Julia – Liebe ist alles at the Theater des Westens in Berlin.

The Swiss-born performer was drawn to the spotlight of dance, singing and acting from an early age. She first appeared on stage at the age of four and became vice world champion in tap dance at thirteen. After completing an apprenticeship as a professional chef in haute cuisine, she moved to Hamburg in 2020, where she completed a three-year training programme as a professional musical theatre performer at the Stage School Hamburg, graduating with distinction in summer 2023. Following her graduation, she made her stage debut in Fack ju Göhte. She subsequently appeared in productions such as Heidi – Das Neue Musical at the Walensee-Bühne, A Chorus Line and Footloose. Most recently, she was part of the ensemble in Mamma Mia! at the Maag Halle in Zurich.

Swing, Cover Tybalt
Strato Stavridis completed his Musical Theatre studies at the Institute of Music in Osnabrück in 2025. He gained his first musical experience in regional productions in Saarland, including Carrie as Billy Nolan as well as ensemble work in Jesus Christ Superstar and The Little Shop of Horrors. During his studies, he appeared in numerous stage productions, including Die Päpstin at the Deutsches Theater Munich and at the Festspielhaus Neuschwanstein, the operetta Gräfin Mariza in the dance ensemble, the operetta Im weißen Rössl in the ensemble, and Tootsie in the role of composer Stuart at the Stadttheater Osnabrück. This was followed by further productions such as Peter Pan at the Staatstheater Kassel, La Cage Aux Folles at Theater Kiel, and Die Weihnachtsbäckerei at Schmidts Tivoli in Hamburg.

Tim Taucher completed his training as a musical theatre performer at the Stage School Hamburg from 2017 to 2019. After several engagements at First Stage Hamburg (including Dracula, Carrie and Fame), he was a permanent member of the acting ensemble at the Eduard-von-Winterstein-Theatre in the Ore Mountains from 2020 for two years. There, he subsequently continued as a guest performer in various leading roles in musical theatre, operetta and drama. In 2023 and 2024, he toured Germany as Alexander von Falkenstein with Bibi & Tina. In 2025/26, Tim appeared in Romeo & Julia – Liebe ist alles at the Theater des Westens in Berlin. Most recently, in summer 2026, he was part of the cast of Tischlein deck dich at the Brothers Grimm Festival, where he had already appeared in 2024 in Die Gänsemagd and Romeo und Julia.

Sander van Wissen completed both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music Theatre at the Fontys Academy of the Arts in Tilburg. In 2016, he moved to Berlin, where he joined the cast of Tanz der Vampire, performing the roles of Herbert and Professor Abronsius, among others. Since then, he has appeared in numerous musicals on stage, including Bat Out of Hell, Pretty Woman, Rent, Sister Act and Jesus Christ Superstar. In a concert performance of Frankenstein at the Stadttheater Fürth, he took on the title role. Personal highlights include the role of Riff in West Side Story at the Stadttheater Lüneburg and Cornelius Hackl in Hello, Dolly! at the Stadttheater Klagenfurt.

Dance Captain, Swing, Cover Lady Capulet
Katrin Merkl completed her Musical Theatre studies at the August Everding Theatre Academy in Munich with distinction. She appeared as a swing in Titanic (Bad Hersfelder Festspiele) and in Io senza te (Thunerseespiele). The North German performer has played roles including Rapunzel in Into the Woods, Lucy in Dracula, Jeannie in Hair and Wednesday in The Addams Family. She also toured as Molly in Ghost – Nachricht von Sam and was part of the cast of Ku’damm 56 as swing/cover Helga. She appeared in A Chorus Line and played Cathy in The Last Five Years at Theater im Palais in Berlin. Earlier in Berlin, Katrin Merkl was seen as swing/cover LC in Romeo & Julia – Liebe ist alles and also performed at Theater Kempten in the one-woman show It’s Britney, Bitch!.

Ass. Dance Captain, Cross Swing
Trained in dance and theatre, she has been involved in productions including Hello, Dolly! (dancer, STK), Romeo & Julia – Liebe ist alles (assistant dance captain, cross-swing, Theater des Westens), Ku’damm 59 (ensemble, Theater des Westens), Santa Maria (ensemble, Comödie Dresden) and In the Air (RCC) as an aerialist and ensemble member. She appeared in Saturday Night Fever as an ensemble member and cover Maria, took part in the music video “Jake Jones – Phases” and was part of the ballet ensemble on UK tours of Swan Lake, Giselle and Coppélia.
