World premiere of the new production of West Side Story in Munich in 2022: guest of honor Alexander Bernstein, son of composer Leonard Bernstein, travelled all the way from New York. As President of Artful Learning Inc. and Vice President of the Leonard Bernstein Office, Inc. he is continuing his father's legacy. Together with director Lonny Price, a close friend of the family, Bernstein was deeply moved and overjoyed after the performance.

To promote the worldwide release of the film Maestro (2023) about the life of Leonard Bernstein, Hollywood stars Bradley Cooper and Carey Mulligan came to Paris and posed in the impressive set of the West Side Story production, which has just given a ten-week sold-out guest performance at the renowned Théâtre du Châtelet as part of its world tour.

When music connects – and inspires hope
During the recent world tour of West Side Story, donations were collected for Doctors Without Borders after each performance. Thanks to the amazing support of the audience, an impressive total of €100,000 was raised!
The donation check was ceremoniously handed over to the organization by the cast and crew of the production during their guest performance at the Alte Oper Frankfurt.
