Since 2008, the ROCKY HORROR SHOW has successfully toured Germany, Austria and Switzerland six times. The audience booed, waved their torches, splashed water and partied like there was no tomorrow!
Alongside a first-class cast, a succession of celebrity guests took on the role of narrators, transporting the audience into Dr. Frank‘n‘Furters flamboyant, fantastical world.
On Halloween 2008, the ROCKY HORROR SHOW returned to Germany. The new production, directed by Sam Buntrok and choreographed by Matthew Moor, premiered at the Admiralspalast in Berlin before moving on to Vienna, Zurich, Düsseldorf, Munich, Trieste and Frankfurt. Martin Semmelrogge, Ralph Morgenstern and many other well-known figures took to the stage as narrators.

Following the huge success of its first tour, the ROCKY HORROR SHOW returned in 2011. On June 22, the Musical Dome in Cologne was transformed into Frank'n'Furter's estate. In addition to tour stops in numerous cities across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland over the course of nearly a year, the show also made a guest appearance on the summer edition of the popular TV show “Wetten, dass...?” at the bullfighting arena in Palma de Mallorca. Prominent narrators were once again part of the tour, including Sky du Mont and Klaus Nierhoff.

In 2014, he once again went on tour through Germany, Italy, and Switzerland. Due to the audience’s enthusiasm, the role of Frank’n’Furter was once again cast with Rob Fowler, who had already earned standing ovations during the first tour. Sky du Mont and Martin Semmelrogge also returned as narrators. Highlights of the tour included guest performances at the Forli-Ravenna Festival and the Cologne Summer Festival.

Following a sold-out tour and a three-year hiatus, the ROCKY HORROR SHOW is back in Germany, Italy, Austria, and Switzerland in 2017. Over a million fans have been captivated since the world premiere in Berlin in 2008. The 2014 tour alone drew 300,000 attendees, making it a resounding success. With a new cast and familiar narrators, the show hit the road once again, with stops in Hamburg, Graz, Cologne, Leipzig, and other cities.

After a five-year hiatus, partly due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the ROCKY HORROR SHOW finally returned following two postponements. After its acclaimed premiere in Vienna, the show toured across Germany and Switzerland. Also on board: a new cast and new narrators; in Berlin, Dr. Gregor Gysi took on the role of narrator, and voice actor Rufus Beck also joined the cast for several performances. The production was also revamped and shone with new brilliance thanks to state-of-the-art show technology.

50 years of the ROCKY HORROR SHOW — that calls for a celebration!
On October 21, filming begins at Bray Studios for a wild, wacky, and still-legendary cult classic! It’s the birth of the ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW! The premiere is celebrated in London on August 14, 1975. The rest is pop culture history, which is now returning to the musical stage exactly 50 years after filming began: “Don’t dream it, be it!”
Of course, Sky du Mont, now a fan favorite as the Narrator, is back, and Hugo Egon Balder is making his debut.
For the anniversary tour, the ROCKY HORROR SHOW is also making its first appearance at the Lanxess Arena, one of the largest event venues in Germany!
